Ep. 126: Groundskeeper Snoke and the Happy Crappy Kid

Sith Troopers, Eli Vanto and Blue Velvet, new shirts, expensive toys. Here's what happens:

  • Who Got What? was brought to you in part by Terry Fitzgerald, excellent human being.
  • Chris Hall, artist extraordinaire, is helping us with some amazing merch. Be on the lookout!
  • How about those Sith Troopers? Warrant wrote a song about them.
  • There's an excerpt of Thrawn: Treason on Gizmodo. That's cool and all, but the big news is one of the pictures. You'll know it when you see it.
  • A Kenner Prototype Rocket Launcher Boba Fett sold at auction for over $100k! We suddenly don't feel bad about what we're spending.
  • Daisy Ridley talks lightsaber duels in The Rise of Skywalker.
  • When the kids were ditching class and smoking out back at Jedi High, Groundskeeper Snoke filled them full of his extremist agenda.
  • The mashup outro this week is called ...Ready for Backseat Freestyle? and you can find it on YouTube right here. Please share it with everyone you know!

Ep. 125: Where It’s At - We Got Two Australians and Some Microphones

Australia invades! Steele Saunders and Josh Chapman stop in to talk some Star Wars. Here's what happens:

  • Dallas was STILL on vacation. Good for him. Good for him.
  • Steele Saunders of Steele Wars (@SteeleWars) and Josh Chapman of Star Wars Spelt Out (@StarWarsSpelt) hang out with Luke and Eric. Apparently it takes two podcasting titans to fill the void that Dallas leaves when he's not there.
  • Who Got What? has some unique entries. Eric veered off his usual hardass rule and let the guests talk about stuff they've ordered but not received yet.
  • Here's a shocker: people are still complaining about certain things in Star Wars. Weird. Alex from Star Wars Explained wins Twitter.
  • Here's our top things that annoy us about top things lists.
  • What's the score with Galaxy's Edge? Ruining Disneyland? That's the word on the street. Not a street where logical people hang out, but some street somewhere.
  • Why not an alien main character in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order? You might be surprised.

Vintage toys, animated series, Cassian Andor, Daisy Ridley! Here's what happens:

  • Dallas is on vacation in Hawaii. Good for him. Good for him.
  • Eric carries Who Got What? all alone. A big shout out to Eric's sister, Orphan.
  • We are seriously floored by the support of our Patreon launch. You guys are the best. It means a great deal to us all. Thank you!
  • The newest episode of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is really cool. Be sure to check out Jedi vs. Sith - The Skywalker Saga here on the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel.
  • Are Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau working on an animated series?
  • It looks like Gareth Edwards will be involved in the Cassian Andor live-action series!
  • Daisy Ridley talks about Star Wars.
  • Some live-action rumors in Clickbait Cantina.

Ep. 123: Some Fresh Motivation

Look who's here! Criss Fresh from The Geek Dudes podcast drops in to talk Celebration, collecting, and more. Here's what happens:

  • We're gonna say it. Criss Fresh (@crissfresh) is awesome.
  • Who Got What? shows that RDS in full force all of the world.
  • Did you get your SWCA 2020 pass? Well, if you didn't we may have some bad news.
  • The Boba Fest SDCC exclusive is neat. Is this what they're planning for the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back?
  • Dallas will give you a hand if you need one.
  • The Taylor Swift / DMX mashup, X Bon' Give It to Ya Delicately is back, now with a music video. You can check it out on YouTube. PLEASE GO LISTEN TO IT AND GIVE IT A LIKE! It would mean a lot to Eric.
  • If you ever worried that people were going to stop being jerks online or in person, you can rest easy. You've got nothing to worry about.
  • How about some new comics and books?
  • While talking about books, Criss Fresh plunges a dagger into Eric's heart while Dallas and Luke laugh and laugh. And then they all laugh some more.
  • Ready for the Patreon launch? Go to patreon.com/thebadmotivators to find out more. It should be live on July 1st!

Ep. 122: We Are What They Grow Beyond

Big announcements all around, a reason to Celebrate, and more video game news. Here's what happens:

  • Dallas made sure this week's Who Got What? was a big deal for everyone!
  • A big announcement from the Motivator camp. It's good stuff.
  • Colin Trevorrow and his team designed something that's in Galaxy's Edge?
  • More details from the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game roll in. It looks like it's going to be amazing!
  • Some classic Star Wars video games are being rereleased by Limited Run.
  • Arcade1UP is releasing the classic original Star Wars arcade games in their small-format cabinet. Good bye, money.
  • Jedi: Fallen Order is getting a five-issue prequel comic.
  • Michelle Rejwan, one of the producers of The Rise of Skywalker, is named the Senior VP of Live Action Development and Production! I bet that's a sweet job.
  • An email from Snoke's son-in-law. It's not a bit.
  • King Tom, ladies and gentlemen.

Ep. 121: Jedi: Fallen Hoarder

Lots of game news from the E3 expo, including LEGO Star Wars and Jedi: Fallen Order, prepping for Alphabet Squadron, and Daisy Ridley news! Here's what happens:

  • Cruser breaks his losing streak in Who Got What?. FINALLY.
  • We're getting LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in 2020! The trailer's tagline tells us "All Nine Films, One New Game" - super dope. It'll be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
  • We get to see alpha gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order plus a trailer. Here's the thing: it's awesome. It's all awesome. Hopefully the actual release will live up to what we see here.
  • Since Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron will be out by the time this episode drops, Luke and Dallas talk about the Star Wars: TIE Fighter comic run. Apparently it's good.
  • There is some big news coming next week from the TBM camp. Big.

Ep. 120: Qui-Gons, Bygones and Morons

Collectibles, Galaxy's Edge, crazy fandom and Master & Apprentice by Claudia Gray! Here's what happens:

  • We're graced with a visit from King Tom (@TomChansky), and he definitely delivers the goods.
  • Just the theme song alone for Who Got What? causes a scene.
  • The topic of weird fandom happenings leads to a question of motive and how to work the system. No conspiracy theories here, don't worry.
  • The gear for sale in Galaxy's Edge is crazy cool. Take our money. Just take it.
  • King Tom leads us into the novel Master & Apprentice by Claudia Gray. There are so many layers to what the story is about. Ms. Gray is a fantastic author, and the characters are really well done. We want you to read the book.
  • Thank you to everyone who listens to the show and who support us on social media. It really means a great deal to us!

Ep. 119: What’s the Deal with Your Face?

A huge spread in Vanity Fair, disappearing cast names, some possible movie news, and more! Here's what happens:

  • Luke and Eric hold down the fort while Dallas is on vacation. Good for him. Good for him.
  • Luke forgets that Who Got What? is about getting Star Wars stuff. Luckily, Eric did not forget that.
  • A couple of names disappeared from the cast list on the UK Disney website for The Rise of Skywalker. What does that mean?
  • Vanity Fair's spread on The Rise of Skywalker makes us all want the movie even more. The photos alone are worth a look. Check them out here.
  • Is a Knights of the Old Republic movie in the works?
  • How about a couple of voicemails?
  • The outro song this week was taken from Taylor Swift's Netflix special. If you haven't watched that you're missing out for sure.

Ep. 118: Dooku: You Jedi Lost Me

We talk about the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, who is making movies and more! Here's what happens:

  • Dallas is back with his brand new invention (or something), and he talks about an amazing find in Who Got What? this week.
  • Disney continues to monitor our show to make sure they release news right after we record an episode. The Star Wars movie slated for December 2022 will be a Benioff and Weiss joint.
  • So, how about that audio drama/book, Dooku: Jedi Lost? Yeah.
  • A voicemail from Clare sparks a discussion on how we can protect our fandom.
  • Robbo gives us an interesting reading recommendation for kids. It does sound pretty neat.

Ep. 117: The Robbo Rapport

Robbo drops in to talk movie release schedules, Disney+ content and more. Here's what happens:

  • We're joined by our pal Robbo (@GC9X) to talk all things Star Wars. He totally gets us. This is gonna rule SO hard.
  • It looks like Who Got What? is unveiling some addiction issues.
  • Disney's movie release schedule shows us that we're not getting a new Star Wars theatrical release after The Rise of Skywalker until 2022, and then two more in 2024 and 2026. Will those be Rian Johnson's movies? Or will it be Benioff and Weiss at the helm? Or someone else?
  • There will be a lot of content available when Disney+ launches. Take a look!
  • Is it possible to meet fan expectations in the age of Twitter? Organized Google-bombing, armchair quarterbacks, people who claim their childhoods have been stolen, etc. What does that do for potential fans or potential creatives?
  • A listener email that just might blow your mind. It blew ours. Seriously.
