Ep. 121: Jedi: Fallen Hoarder

Lots of game news from the E3 expo, including LEGO Star Wars and Jedi: Fallen Order, prepping for Alphabet Squadron, and Daisy Ridley news! Here's what happens:

  • Cruser breaks his losing streak in Who Got What?. FINALLY.
  • We're getting LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in 2020! The trailer's tagline tells us "All Nine Films, One New Game" - super dope. It'll be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
  • We get to see alpha gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order plus a trailer. Here's the thing: it's awesome. It's all awesome. Hopefully the actual release will live up to what we see here.
  • Since Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron will be out by the time this episode drops, Luke and Dallas talk about the Star Wars: TIE Fighter comic run. Apparently it's good.
  • There is some big news coming next week from the TBM camp. Big.

Ep. 120: Qui-Gons, Bygones and Morons

Collectibles, Galaxy's Edge, crazy fandom and Master & Apprentice by Claudia Gray! Here's what happens:

  • We're graced with a visit from King Tom (@TomChansky), and he definitely delivers the goods.
  • Just the theme song alone for Who Got What? causes a scene.
  • The topic of weird fandom happenings leads to a question of motive and how to work the system. No conspiracy theories here, don't worry.
  • The gear for sale in Galaxy's Edge is crazy cool. Take our money. Just take it.
  • King Tom leads us into the novel Master & Apprentice by Claudia Gray. There are so many layers to what the story is about. Ms. Gray is a fantastic author, and the characters are really well done. We want you to read the book.
  • Thank you to everyone who listens to the show and who support us on social media. It really means a great deal to us!

Ep. 119: What’s the Deal with Your Face?

A huge spread in Vanity Fair, disappearing cast names, some possible movie news, and more! Here's what happens:

  • Luke and Eric hold down the fort while Dallas is on vacation. Good for him. Good for him.
  • Luke forgets that Who Got What? is about getting Star Wars stuff. Luckily, Eric did not forget that.
  • A couple of names disappeared from the cast list on the UK Disney website for The Rise of Skywalker. What does that mean?
  • Vanity Fair's spread on The Rise of Skywalker makes us all want the movie even more. The photos alone are worth a look. Check them out here.
  • Is a Knights of the Old Republic movie in the works?
  • How about a couple of voicemails?
  • The outro song this week was taken from Taylor Swift's Netflix special. If you haven't watched that you're missing out for sure.

Ep. 118: Dooku: You Jedi Lost Me

We talk about the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, who is making movies and more! Here's what happens:

  • Dallas is back with his brand new invention (or something), and he talks about an amazing find in Who Got What? this week.
  • Disney continues to monitor our show to make sure they release news right after we record an episode. The Star Wars movie slated for December 2022 will be a Benioff and Weiss joint.
  • So, how about that audio drama/book, Dooku: Jedi Lost? Yeah.
  • A voicemail from Clare sparks a discussion on how we can protect our fandom.
  • Robbo gives us an interesting reading recommendation for kids. It does sound pretty neat.

Ep. 117: The Robbo Rapport

Robbo drops in to talk movie release schedules, Disney+ content and more. Here's what happens:

  • We're joined by our pal Robbo (@GC9X) to talk all things Star Wars. He totally gets us. This is gonna rule SO hard.
  • It looks like Who Got What? is unveiling some addiction issues.
  • Disney's movie release schedule shows us that we're not getting a new Star Wars theatrical release after The Rise of Skywalker until 2022, and then two more in 2024 and 2026. Will those be Rian Johnson's movies? Or will it be Benioff and Weiss at the helm? Or someone else?
  • There will be a lot of content available when Disney+ launches. Take a look!
  • Is it possible to meet fan expectations in the age of Twitter? Organized Google-bombing, armchair quarterbacks, people who claim their childhoods have been stolen, etc. What does that do for potential fans or potential creatives?
  • A listener email that just might blow your mind. It blew ours. Seriously.

Ep. 116: Late Night Bowcasting

We say goodbye to Peter Mayhew, celebrate May the 4th and see a list of books. Here's what happens:

  • Peter Mayhew, you'll be missed. Thank you for everything.
  • When you can't remember what you got when it's time for Who Got What? did you actually even get it?
  • What did YOU do on May the 4th?
  • There's a whole pile of books on the way. Some look pretty good!
  • Did someone accidentally reveal that a Kylo Ren origin story book is in the works?
  • Listener emails and voicemails!

Ep. 115: Shut Thy Hole

The Mandalorian, Mark Hamill, The Phantom Menace and more! Here's what happens:

  • Spillover from last week has to be made up for in this week's Who Got What?
  • Someone made a comparison that the MCU is this generation's Star Wars. What do you think?
  • Mark Hamill says stuff. People react, some more than others.
  • The Vader: Dark Visions comic issue #3 was a scene. Not a good scene.
  • We recap the panel for The Mandalorian. Unfortunately the official video isn't available on YouTube, so we didn't include any audio in here. But man. So rad.
  • Luke got to go to The Clone Wars panel. Man, we are stoked for that show!
  • Eric talks about the Doug Chiang: the Evolution of Star Wars Design - Designing Episode I panel. If you want to see the panel in full, check it out on the Star Wars YouTube channel.
  • So, the Star Wars: Phantom Menace 20th Anniversary Celebration panel happened. If you want to see the panel in full, you can check it out here. I wouldn't do it though.
  • How about the Star Wars Resistance Season Two Sneak Peek panel? Right?!?
  • The big news of the closing ceremony was the announcement of SWCA 2020. Anaheim, here we come!
  • Listener voicemails!

Ep. 114: Literally No One’s Ever Really Gone

It's our first post-Celebration episode where we're all together. Toys, trailers and spoilery news. Here's what happens:

  • Well, Who Got What? is like a waterfall of awesomeness this week.
  • We do a small breakdown of the trailer for The Rise of Skywalker. What does it all mean? How is this going to go? I know you are, but what am I?
  • We talk about the panels that we went to during the first two days of Celebration, including David W. Collins' panel The Music of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and others. There was some great stuff and it was impossible to see it all.
  • What did people think of the Galaxy's Edge panel?
  • A handful of emails and a voicemail from our listeners!
  • SPOILER ALERT: We share some spoilery rumors from our friends at makingstarwars.net. Don't worry, we warn everyone multiple times that they're coming!

Ep. 113: SWCC 2019 - The Good, the Better and the Best

Celebration has wrapped, and we're all finally home. What a scene. Here's what happens:

  • Steele Saunders talks to Chris Seekell from the Star Wars Underworld and Eric after the media walkthrough following the Episode IX panel. It was a rad day to say the least.
  • Galaxy's Edge panel? Yeah, we missed it.
  • The Mandalorian is gonna be amazing. AMAZING.
  • We sit down with artist extraordinaire Chris Hall as the final day of Celebration winds down. This fandom has some amazing moments, and you'll be moved when you hear his take on his visit.
  • Eric lets his kids do their own version of Who Got What? once he shows them what he brought home for them.
